A Few Reminders and Donations

I just want to give a few reminders since we are over half way through the year! First off, we have weekly homework due on Friday. Your child should be bringing the homework packet home on Monday and it is due no later than that Friday. This is not intended to be done all in one sitting, feel free to space it out through-out the week. Of course, do whatever is best for your child and family. In addition to that homework, they should be reading 20 minutes daily. This should add up to no more than 30-40 minutes of homework a night.

Finally, with spring setting in, we are starting to run low on our supply of Kleenex and Clorox/Lysol/disinfectant wipes. If you are able to donate either item it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for all your support!

Pizza Party!

This note will be going home on Wednesday but here it is in case you miss it!

Dear Parents,
Our school recently had a fundraiser with Papa John’s Pizza and our class had the most participation and won a pizza party! This will take place Thursday at 11:30 am, just before our regular lunchtime. Thursday is also an early-out day. I’m letting you know ahead of time in case you choose not to send your child to school with a lunch. Every child will get a slice of either pepperoni or cheese pizza. Although this is last minute I’m also wondering if you would be willing and available to donate any drinks or healthy snack (i.e. carrots/ranch/fruit) to have with the pizza that day. If you are able to donate anything will you please let me know through email ASAP! Thank you for all your support and congrats to the class!
