Spelling Words

Below you will find the final list of spelling words! This week will be our last spelling test and last week for homework. We will take our normal weekly reading test on Friday, as well as, a final review-reading test on Monday June 1.

We will also spend this week and next reviewing in math as well as covering parts of topic 17 (“Step up to Third Grade”)

Field Trip Reminder

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our field trip! It should be a fun day! Your child is bringing home a reminder of whether they have a home lunch or school lunch. Please make sure your child is on time to school tomorrow morning. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Library Books

I have several students who are missing library books. These need to be turned in or paid for this week please! If you aren't sure if your child is missing a book, need to know which book, or the cost for it, please email me and let me know. Thank you!

Spelling

Due to an unusual week the spelling test and reading test will be on Wednesday. There is no school for students on Friday so homework will be due on Thursday. If you have any questions please let me know!

Spelling and Math

We have started a new unit in math. It consists of graphing and telling time. We have been focusing on telling time this week. Some have really grasped this concept, while others are struggling. Please review telling time (on an analog clock!) with your child at home. We have been using phrases such as "half past", "quarter after", and "quarter til". Thank you for your support!
