More Upcoming Events :)

We had a fantastic talent show and spelling bee today! What talented kids! Just a couple reminders:

• Tomorrow we will be walking to Butler Middle School in the afternoon for a dance performance.

• A note went home today about the maturation program. It is this Friday at 11:45, you are welcome to attend with your child. You may also check your child out after the one hour program or if they stay we ask that they have a sack lunch with them.

Finally, DARE graduation is Thursday May 24 at 11:00am which you are welcome to attend as well.

Back to Normal...

With the end of CRT we will go back to our normal schedule with a few exceptions of course.

• Monday is our spelling bee/ talent show starting at 1:30pm (Parents are welcome to come!)
•  Tuesday we will walk to Butler Middle School after lunch for a dance performance.

Thank you to you and your wonderful children for all the sweet notes and gifts I received this week for teacher appreciation. I definitely feel appreciated and especially privileged to work with such great kids! Have a fantastic weekend!

A Correction...

We have had a small change in plans for the talent show/spelling bee. It is still on Monday the 14th however we will start the spelling bee first at 1:30pm (instead of 1:00pm). We will then immediately move into our talent show. It should be a great afternoon!
We had our in class spelling bee today. They all did a fantastic job and I am so proud of all of them :) The top 5 will compete on Monday against Mrs. French's top 5.

Time Flies!

With the end of the year rapidly approaching here are some dates to keep in mind.

• Wednesday, May 9 is our in class spelling bee. I will take my top 5 spellers and we will compete against Mrs. French’s top 5 spellers next week (words were given out in March).

• Thursday, May 10 DARE Reports are due which were started in class and were to be finished at home. May 10 also marks our last CRT test, woo hoo!

• Monday, May 14 will be our 5^th grade spelling bee and talent show. It will begin at 1:00pm and parents are invited. Hope to see you there!

Looking even further ahead…

5^th grade maturation program will be Friday the 18^th (more information to follow)
