Take Home Reading Books

During the month of January students took district wide reading tests. I will use those results to update their take home reading book levels. Look for their new leveled books next week or the week after at the very latest. Sorry for the long wait but thank you for your patience!

Time Flies!

I can’t believe it’s already February!
Just a few updates for you:

  • February 6th is the 100th day of school! We will be having quite the celebration, however, your student must complete reading 100 books by that day in order to participate. A note when home last week as a reminder and be looking for another note to go home tomorrow (Friday 2/1).
  • Please make sure your child comes to school with the appropriate winter clothing. We have been able to go outside more for recess so please send them to school prepared.
  • I have had several students come to school in the morning with complaints of not feeling well. If your student is sick please keep them home, this helps all of us stay healthy!
  • Finally please remember that in addition to whatever homework is sent home in the red folders, students should also be reading 20 minutes every night and tracking it on their “Road To Success” chart. If you need a new one please let me know.

Thank you for all you do!
