Weekly Skills

Thank you all for coming to Parent Teacher Conferences. It was great to meet with all of you! Below are the skills that we will be covering for the next 5 days with our new story. We will start this next story, along with these skills, tomorrow. Please use this as a discussion point for what your child is doing in class. Thank you for all your support and as always please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.


First Grade Weekly Study Skills
Unit 4, Week 3, “A Trip to Washington, D. C.”

Below are the skills and vocabulary we will be working on for the next 5 days.  (*Please note: our literacy lessons are based on 5-day plans that may or may not align with a M-F schedule.)  You can support your child’s literacy skills by reviewing, discussing, and practicing the skills and concepts below:
